IU Health West Hospital Ranked Among State’s Best Hospitals
Avon, IN - Indiana University Health West Hospital is once again recognized among the top 10 hospitals in all of Indiana, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2018-19 “Best Hospitals” rankings.
IU Health West Hospital, part of the Indiana University Health system, ranks No. 3 overall in the state of Indiana and No. 2 overall in the Indianapolis metro area. According to the U.S. News rankings, IU Health Medical Center is the No. 1 ranked hospital in Indiana and Indianapolis, and is the only nationally ranked adult hospital in the state.

IU Health West Hospital received high performance ratings in three adult specialties: Geriatrics, Nephrology and Pulmonology. Additionally, IU Health West Hospital received high performance ratings in two adult conditions: COPD and heart failure.
